Plettenberg Bay has been nominated as Africa’s top beach destination in the World Travel Awards for 10 consecutive years, but 2020 marked ‘11th time lucky’ for the town, as its 20km of coastline combined to rake in first prize when winners from across the continent were announced on Monday.
