As you can imagine, Plettenberg Bay has a high pedigree when it comes to marine life and natural attractions.

As you can imagine, Plettenberg Bay has a high pedigree when it comes to marine life and natural attractions.

Plett is one of only five international hope spots in South Africa declared by Mission Blue’s Dr Sylvia Earle in 2014. It is a part of the UNESCO Garden Route Biosphere Reserve, a kissing cousin to the Tsitsikamma Marine Protected Area, Africa’s oldest marine protected area and a haven for unique, endangered and endemic species, both transient and permanent.
